Tagaby Tags

Tagaby offers three types of tags: keychains, iron-ons, and stickers. Keychains and iron-ons use NFC technology to connect with the Tagaby app, while stickers use a QR code that links to a secure private URL for quick reporting when an item is found.

Each tag works best in different situations. Iron-ons are perfect for clothing like sweaters, jackets, and shirts, but should not be applied to plastic surfaces such as down jackets or backpacks. Keychains are a great fit for backpack handles and zippers, while stickers work best on smooth metal items like water bottles and lunch boxes.

Tagaby App

Never feel out of the loop, the Tagaby app keeps you connected to your child's belongings, ensuring that lost items find their way home quickly.

When a tagged item is found, parents receive an instant notification through the Tagaby app. From there, they can coordinate directly with the school to arrange pickup. The app also features a simple dashboard where families can view and manage all active tags registered to their account, making it easy to keep track of everything in one place.

Reading the Tags

Whether it's a school using a dedicated reader or a parent tapping with their phone, Tagaby patches and keychains are easy to scan. Stickers can also be scanned using any smartphone camera. The process is fast, secure, and simple to use.

Tagaby tags use two trusted technologies: NFC (Near Field Communication) and QR codes. Iron-on patches and keychains contain a tiny NFC chip, the same safe and reliable tech found in contactless payment cards and key fobs. Stickers feature a unique QR code that can be scanned with any smartphone camera. When scanned, the tag securely links to the registered owner, instantly triggering a notification to the parent through the Tagaby app. It's quick, safe, and simple.
